After a hard fought battle in New York County Supreme Court, Garibian Law has successfully obtained full recovery in a matter involving the sale of a highly valuable stamp collection that had been in the client’s family for generations.
Garibian’s client hired the defendants to sell the stamp collection, which included volumes of stamps from various countries throughout Latin America. Defendants agreed to pay the owner a percentage of the proceeds upon completion of the sale. The stamps were eventually sold, but the funds were never paid to our client.
Antranig Garibian filed suit in New York County Supreme Court, asserting various civil claims against the defendants. Despite resistance from the defendants, Garibian persisted and aggressively pursued the claims. Eventually, the defendants relented and paid our client the full amount owed under the contract.
